A day in Eppstein

Assalom azizlar 🙂

Yozning so’ngi kunlaridan unumli foydalangan holda bir sayr qilib kelmaymizmi? Qulay oyoq kiyim kiyib olishning o’zi kifoya. Tayyormisiz? Kettik unda…

Hey my dears 🙂

It is the last days of the Summer and we still have some time to enjoy the holiday season. If you have a pair of comfortable shoes, I’ll invite you out to a little tour. Are you ready? Let’s go then…

1

Biz Germaniyaning Hessen federal yerida joylashgan mo’jazgina shaharcha Epshtayndamiz. Shaharcha tarixi, buguni va boshqa statistik ma’lumotlarni wiki’dan o’qib olish mumkin, biz faqat aylanamiz. Darvoqe, Epshtayn nafaqat Germaniya balkim Yevropanining moliyaviy markazlaridan bo’lmish Frankfurt shahridan 30 daqiqalik uzoqlikda joylashgan. Shuning uchun ham aytishlariga qaraganda, shaharchani aksariyat aholisini Frankfurtning boy bankirlari tashkil etar ekan. Umuman olganda narx-navo bo’yicha Germaniyadagi ikkinchi qimmat shaharcha hisoblanadi. Birinchisi Myunxen yaqinidagi qaysidir shaharcha, aytishgandi, esimdan chiqibdi.

We are in a tiny town called Eppstein in Hessen, Germany. If you are interested in history, today and statics of Eppstein you could refer to wiki for that. We just enjoy our tour. By the way, Eppstein is only 30 mins drive away from Frankfurt, which is financial centre of Germany and EU too. Therefore, as it is said, Eppstein is home to major bankers of Frankfurt. Generally speaking, Eppstein is the second most expensive town  in Germany after one town near Munich being the first (I forgot the name of that first one though).

2

Agar shaharcha ustidan uchib o’tilsa, qalin o’rmonlar orasiga bir necha yuz qizil tomli uylarni kiritib qo’ygandek manzarani ko’rish mumkin. Biz piyoda bo’lganimiz uchun barini shu tomlar orasidan ko’rib ketaveramiz. Sayrimiz boshida Sizga bir  topshiriq beraman: ko’chalarga yaxshilab e’tibor bering, noodatiy hol sezishingiz aniq, sayr yakunida aytasiz, xop…?

If one flies over the town, it seems several hundreds of red roofs put among the green woods. We are on foot, so we enjoy the view on the ground too. At the beginning of our tour, I’ll give you a task: please, pay attention to everything as we walk along the streets, and you will notice something odd, strange, and you will tell me about that at the end of the tour, deal?

3

Uylar asosan ikki qavatli qilib qurilgan. Deyarli har bir xonadon derazalari, eshiklari oldida tuvaklarda gular ekib qo’yishgan. Mo’jazgina hovlichalari ham asosan gullar bilan to’lgan.

The houses are mainly two-storey houses. Almost every house has window boxes with full of flowers and there are some near their entrance doors too. If there is a tiny garden in the house, that is full of flowers too.

4

Shaharcha landshafti bir tekis emas, ko’chalar goh tepaga qarab chiqib ketsa, ba’zan pastga shunaqa qiya ketganki, beixtiyor yugurib tushib ketib qolasiz. Masalan, bu yerdan qo’l ushlashib tushmasak bo’lmaydi.

The landshaft of the town isn’t flat at all. The streets may go up so steep or go down out of sudden. For instance, here we should walk hand in hand.

5

Shaharcha mashinalari ham o’zi va yo’llari kabi mo’jazgina, hashamatdan yiroq.

The cars of the town are as tiny as the town itself or as its streets, far away from luxury.

6

Ob-havo Britanyadagi kabi tezda o’zgarmasa ham Yevropaligini qiladi, bir zumda bulutli osmonda kulrang bulutlar chekinib, quyosh jilmaya boshlasa, hech ajablanmang.

The weather is not that much British, but still it is  Europe. So it not surprising to see the sun shining after couple of minutes of cloudy weather.

Xo’sh, ko’chalar-u uylar tuzilishi bilan tanishib oldik, mashina-yu gular ham qolmadi. Lekin eng qizig’i hali oldinda, bizni Epshtayn ritsarlari qasrining xarobalari kutmoqda. Yaay…

So, we got acquainted to the structure of the streets, houses, even talked about the cars and flowers. The most important ones yet to come. The ruins of the castle of Eppstein knights… Yay…

8

Bu esa umumiyroq ko’rinishi…

This is another view of it…

9

Qasr bir necha ritsarlarniki bo’lgan, hozirda ulardan biri qolibdi xolos.  Bizga qasr tarixi haqida uzoq bayon qilib berishlari mumkin-u, biz nemischa bilmaymiz, ritsarimiz esa inglizchani, shunday ekan shunchaki tomosha qilaveramiz, kelishdikmi?

The castle belonged to a few knights, currently there is only one left. He could tell us stories about the castle, but we don’t speak German and our knight doesn’t speak English. So we just go on our own, Okay?

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Nimani tomosha qilamiz, shu xarobani deysizmi? Yo’q, minora tepasiga chiqamiz, u yerdan esa… huuh,  butun Epshtayn kaftdek namoyon bo’ladi. So’z beraman manzarani sevib qolasiz…Undan oldin bemalol kirib chiqishingiz mumkin, bir necha yuz zinadan chiqishni o’zi bo’ladimi, yengillashib olgan yaxshida. O’ngga o’tsangiz, to’g’rida.

What to see here, just these ruins? No, we get on top of the tower, and from there… huh, whole Epptein will be visible. I promise you will fall in love with the view… Before that I suggest you go to the loo, it is not easy at all to go up through hundreds of stoned spiral stairs.

11

Bu boshqa gap. Ana endi zinalar orqali olg’a. Muhimi pastga qaramaslik, chiqib ketaveramiz…

You feel good now? Great, now let’s go! Just don’t dare to look at down while stepping through the stairs. Oh, it very dark in here, isn’t it? And the smell of middle ages…

12

Xo’sh.. biroz nafas rostlab olib, ushbu manzaradan bahra olamiz… Aytgandimku.. musaffo osmon, yashil o’rmon va qizil tomlar. Tepadan qaraganda hayot go’zal, ammo biz hali tepada emasmiz.

In order to get some breathe we enjoy this view for a while. I’ve told you, blue sky, green wood, red roofs. It looks so nice to look at the life from top, but we aren’t on top yet.

13

Endi men jim turaman, shunchaki tomosha qiling…

Now, I hush, you just watch…

1415

Bilasizmi nima, jim turolmadim. Hooo, pastda markazdagi tamaddixonani ko’rayapsizmi? O’sha yerda  kechki ovqatni birga qilsak nima deysiz? Biror lazzatli taom bilan Hessen vinosidan (Germaniyaning mashxur vinolari aynan shu yerda tayyorlanadi, nafaqat uzumdan, hatto olmadan ham) simirib, a nima dedingiz…?

You know what, I couldn’t keep silence any more. Can you see the little café on the high street? Shall we have dinner there? Any delicious meal with some Hessen vine (the most popular vines of Germany are made here, not only from grapes but prom apple too), huh?

16

Marhamat, lasos balig’i bilan olma vinosi…

Please, some salmon and apple vine…

17

Shirinlik sifatida menyuda “qaynoq muhabbat” nomli muzqaymoq e’tiborni tortar ekan,  buyurtma berib ko’raylikchi…

As a dessert why not to order some “Hot love” ice-cream.

18

Endi esa  kech bo’ldi, uyga qaytamiz…

Now it’s getting dark, we better go back home…

19

Hamrohlik uchun Sizga, ajoyib kun uchun shaharchaga tashakkur… Ko’rishguncha, Epshtayn…

P.S. Sayr boshida berganim topshiriq javobini  izoh sifatida qoldirishingiz mumkin. Ko’chalarda qanday noodatiy holga duch keldingiz?

Thank for being my companion, and thanks to the town for such a lovely day! See you, Eppstein!

P.S. Now please, leave your answer to my question that has been asked at beginning of the tour as a comment below. What strange thing you could notice in the streets of Eppstein?

  1. 1. Yo’llar garmanyga xos bo’lmagan, ravon emasdek ko’rindi.
    2. Yo’l chetida avtolar turibdi. Manimcha germanyga xos emas bu ham.
    3. Yo’l chetida oddiy betonmas, brulchatka.

    To’g’ri jovobni aytasizmi?

  2. Tirik jon ko’rinmaydiku?! Kunning qaysi payti borgandingiz? Ko’chalarda talaygina avtolar bo’lishiga qaramay ularning egalari tasvirlarda yo’q, xuddi hamma uyquga ketgandek))
